Greatly Blest is a dedicated group of vocalist and musicians that “Love the Lord” and carry on His mission in stunning harmony with an easy listening style. As well as original music written by the group,  Greatly Blest worships with a genre of  well know Southern Gospel music, both Past and  Present. Their smooth and tight harmony is in true Southern Gospel style.

Tina, Joyce and Edwin are no strangers to Southern Gospel Music. All three started as young adults and have played or sang with other Groups in the Past and performed on stage in a variety of venues. While with other groups the members of Greatly Blest  have opened for other well know artists.

The members of Greatly Blest are related. Joyce and Edwin are husband and wife of 40+ years of marriage. They were married in 1971. Tina is related to Edwin, they are 3rd cousins. Their Great Great Grandfathers were brothers, but that family harmony shines through.

Greatly Blest in it’s formation decided that we would go back to the basics of Southern Gospel Music. Go back to the older songs mixed with some of the newer Gospel Music of our day and of course use the original songs that Tina and Edwin wrote, some of them dating back into the 1970′s. Many of the old quartets only had piano or piano and bass or maybe one acoustic guitar added to that. Just the basics. We wanted to go back to the basics and start there. Just family singing around the piano.  Sometimes less is more, especially if God is in it.
